CPA Career Week in High Schools April 15-19, 2024

We very much look forward to inspiring your students.

CPAs work in all types of sectors, around the world, and with quite enviable salaries. High-school students may be surprised to see a world of immense flexibility and choices – which we believe will truly inspire them. As part of CPA Career Week (April 15-19, 2024), would you like a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to present to your business, entrepreneurship, and accounting class?

It is easy. Use the sign-up form below and in return, CPA Atlantic School of Business will match your request with a CPA volunteer that will present to your class. If you have more than one class you want to sign up, please complete the form below for each class.

  • The presentation will be 45 minutes long, but can easily be 15 minutes shorter or longer to suit the class
  • The target audience for the presentation is grade 11 and 12 students in business, entrepreneurship, or accounting classes
  • We also welcome any Junior Achievement group or similar type club who may be interested in the presentation

Deadline to register your class(es) is Friday, March 1, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact us at djackson@cpaatlantic.ca.

Choose the date you'd like a presentation*
note: all times are assumed to be local
note: the presentation naturally lends itself to about 45 minutes, but can easily be shortened to 30 minutes or extended to 60 minutes for more/less opportunity for discussion and questions
Would you prefer to have the presentation in-person or virtually?
*Our ability to accommodate in-person requests is dependent on CPA member availability in your area. If an in-person visit is not possible, we will follow up about a possible virtual alternative for your students.
