Common Final Examination (CFE)

The CPA Common Final Examination is a three-day exam requiring candidates to demonstrate the depth and breadth of their competency in accordance with the CPA Competency Map.

Candidates are required to:

  • participate in a three-day examination
  • demonstrate the depth and breadth of their abilities according to the CPA Competency Map
  • draw on learning from the Capstone 1 case to complete the examination

  • Examination results release date: Friday, August 18

  • Examination dates: Tuesday, September 12 to Thursday, September 14
  • Examination results release date: Friday, December 1
